Spider in her Lair

When I was testing the old Sony, I trained my lens on this female spider. I wanted to see just how close I could get. She built herself a little den and her web and has since laid eggs and is still there. I will return to film her further, especially when her eggs hatch.

It is worth noting that she, Xerolycosa miniata, is half an inch long.
